A gem of a neighborhood watering hole on Saint Paul’s Eastside, Brunson's patio is situated between two historic brick buildings, flanked by ivy, and affording visitors gorgeous views of the blue sky above. The bar food menu is piled with the crispy, savory goods that induce all the best kind of cravings. The “wings” are actually super juicy thighs covered in crisp breading and served with fresh-made sauce. Brunson’s is also a burger-lover’s paradise with giant patties just dripping in toppings, like the No Payne burger slathered with onion jam and blue cheese.

Iron Ranger recently put in a major expansion on its patio and it’s a fantastic place to chill with a Hamm’s and a porketta sandwich.

When the owners of Hope Breakfast Bar revamped Cathedral Hill’s Gnome Pub, the already beautiful outdoor space got a major upgrade. The patio is expansive with tons of different seating spaces all shaded by old growth trees. The food is hearty. Start out with the massive pretzel with cheese and never want another bite of food for the rest of the evening. The space is popular for other four-legged friends from the neighborhood, so it’s an opportunity to nosh and sniff some new friends.

Situated on the grounds of the historic Hamm’s Brewery on the East Side, the popular gathering spot features delightfully eclectic indoor and outdoor spaces perfect to enjoy with your four-legged friend. Offerings include a rotating selection of small-batch beers, crisp seltzers, and a menu of pizzas and whatever else they can cook up in their pizza oven inside the bed of an old truck.
Sweeny's Saloon
This unassuming, yet quaint patio off of Dale Street features ample tree-shaded seating across three terraces, classic pub fare to munch on, and a slew of domestic beers and craft drinks pouring from its outdoor bar.
