2026 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship

Gear up hockey fans! One of the most prestigious tournaments in the world is heading to the Twin Cities from December 26, 2025, through January 5, 2026. This year, the tournament marks its 50th anniversary and the first time Minnesota has hosted the event since 1982. Expect intense rivalries, future NHL superstars and unforgettable celly's as the best under-20 men's teams battle for gold over the course of 29 games in 10 days!

Group A Teams: United States, Germany, Sweeden, Slovakia & Switzerland
Location: Xcel Energy Center

All 10 Group A preliminary round games + 2 quarterfinals + 4 medal round games including both semifinals, Bronze and Gold medal games. A total of 16 games at the Xcel Energy Center

Group B Teams: Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Finland & Latvia
Location: 3M Arena at Marucci

All 10 Group B games + 2 quarterfinals (12 games at 3M Arena at Mariucci) + 4 medal round games including both semifinals, Bronze and Gold medal games (4 games at the Xcel Energy Center). A total of 16 games at 3M Arena at Mariucci and the Xcel Energy Center.

This package includes a ticket to each of the 29 hockey games will take place over 10 days at Xcel Energy Center (16 games) and the 3M Arena at Mariucci (13 games). These two competition venues are located just 15 minutes apart, making the 2026 tournament on of the most easily accessible and fan-friendly in its history.
