The Capital City of the State of Hockey welcomes the IIHF World Juniors Hockey Championship Tournament with open arms from December 26-January 5. To celebrate the abundance of this beloved sport in our city this season, visitors are invited to learn about our rich hockey history, discover local hotspots, and partake in tournament fun with our Puck Passport Hockey Tour.

Each location type is worth a different number of points. The more trivia questions answered correctly upon visits, the more points you'll earn toward exclusive World Juniors and hockey-themed merch.
All prizes can be redeemed at our Visitor's Center located on the main floor of the Landmark Center during general business hours.

The heart of Saint Paul will transform into a winter wonderland of hockey, holidays and hometown pride. Free and open to the public, this outdoor zone brings the spirit of the tournament to the streets with horse and carriage rides, bumper cars on ice, and a New Year's Eve fireworks show.
Home to the Minnesota Wild, Frost, and the IIHF World Junior’s Team USA, this arena is the anchor of Downtown Saint Paul hosting more than 150 sport and entertainment events, welcoming 1.l7 million visitors each year.
This 16-foot bronze statue by local Artist Nick Christensen depicts former U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey Coach, Herb Brooks, celebrating Team USA’s victory at the 1980 Winter Olympic Games.
Located inside of Grand Casino Arena, the Hockey Lodge is the official retailer of the Minnesota Wild hockey team, offering full line of products for the NHL's Minnesota Wild, AHL's Iowa Wild, various Minnesota college hockey teams, as well as vintage North Stars items and Minnesota Frost gear.
The Landmark Center, overlooking Rice Park, was featured in the Mighty Ducks scene where Coach Bombay and Charlie’s mom stroll through a winter festival and admire the ice sculptures. The building is home to the Schubert Club Music Museum, American Association of Wood Turners Gallery, and is a popular event center that hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year--including the annual Saint Paul Winter Carnival.
Created by Ojibwe-Cree artist Shawna Boulette Grapentine of Warroad, Minnesota, the piece blends Indigenous teachings, Minnesota’s hockey heritage, and the natural beauty of the State of Hockey.

The World’s Largest Hockey Puck
At 22.2 feet long, 7.5 feet tall, and a whopping 5,000 pounds, the World's Largest Hockey Puck is here in the Capital City of the State of Hockey! Visitors can view the puck from December 26-January 5, during the Bold North Breakaway Fan Festival in Rice Park.
Puck fans will feel at home in this upscale tavern named after Saint Paul's own, Herb Brooks, who was the hockey coach of the famed Team USA’s Men’s Hockey team during the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. Marvel at his Olympic ring on display alongside mural composites of his hockey history near the back entrance of the establishment.
This supper club is a Saint Paul tradition and features decorated walls adorned with portraits of notable athletes--as well as musicians and politicians--and each year St. Paul Athletes are inducted into the Mancini’s Sports Hall of Fame.
Mickey’s Diner
This iconic diner has been dishing up All-American classics since 1939 and served as the local hangout and place of employment for Charli’s mom in all three of The Mighty Ducks films.

Tiff's in Highland Park turns into an all-out Minnesota hockey bar on game days. With over 37 TVs and 3 big screens, plus booth seating with TVs on either side, it's a great place to catch all of the action.
This pub is owned by former NHL player and longtime Wild color commentator Tom Reid. The walls are adorned with over 400 pieces of hockey memorabilia, including jerseys, sticks, photos, and autographed items from the biggest names in the game.
