Marathon Route
This route offers the best of both worlds, starting Minneapolis and makes its way across the Mighty Mississippi River to provide runners with a scenic look at the stunning parkways, quaint neighborhoods, and gorgeous fall colors leading to the finish line at the Minnesota State Capitol.

Free Bus Rides
Marathon, half marathon, and 10 Mile participants can show their race bibs for free bus rides to and from the start/finish lines in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Bike Parking
Twin Cities In Motion will offer free monitored bike parking for all participants, spectators, and volunteers who ride their bike to the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend Events at the State Capitol Grounds on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5.
Metro Transit
All Marathon Weekend participants have free access, with proof of race day bib, to all Metro Transit bus and light rail routes on Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5.

This show will feature limited-edition posters created by local artists inspired by the Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America®. Artists, designers, illustrators, are invited to create a piece inspired by the beauty and energy of the marathon.
