Join Saint Paul Parks - Natural Resources and Wakaŋ Tipi Awaŋyaŋkapi for our 2026 Restore! Volunteer Workdays! These events are open to individuals or small groups to help restore this park and serve as community stewards in preserving the Dakota sacred site, Wakáŋ Tipi.
Information: They meet one Tuesday and Saturday a month. Come out and enjoy one of Saint Paul’s most historic and culturally significant prairie parks. Learn how to restore this local prairie from our Restoration Supervisors who will meet you at the park, teach you about the project, and supply the tools. Work will include displaced species management, brush hauling, seed collection and sowing, and planting.
Registration: Pre-registration is required. Please register all people who will be participating.
