Thunderous taiko, toe-tapping jazz, and swing dance come together in Swingposium. See and feel for yourself how Japanese Americans maintained morale despite being forced into WWII incarceration camps.
In this immersive experience, expect to be moved by fear and loss, but equally inspired by the tenacity of these Japanese Americans—citizens and immigrants alike—to hold onto the light, even in the darkest of times. Produced by San Jose Taiko and co-presented by TaikoArts Midwest and Theater Mu, this nationally acclaimed show comes to Saint Paul for one weekend only.
