Soul Trouvère will premiere the official video for their new single “We Dance.”
Soul Trouvère originated in 2019 as a duo formed by Colleen Bertsch (fiddle) and Juan Küffner, (accordion), forging a musical style across shared loves and diverse origins which they call Country & Eastern Music. Their style reflects time spent and music & languages learned in places as diverse as Romania, Ecuador, Scotland, North Dakota, and Louisiana. Since 2023 they have been joined by Mikkel Bee (percussion) Liz Draper (upright bass), stalwarts of the Minnesota music scene.
Soul Trouvère have performed in the USA and Europe. They sing songs in a dizzying array of languages, including Boyash, English, French, German, Roma, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Sorbian, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Yiddish. In recent years they have added original songwriting in English and Spanish to their repertoire.
Ukrainian Village BandUkrainian Village Band (UVB) is a Twin Cities-based ensemble rooted in Ukrainian folk and zabava (wedding) tradition. They perform Ukrainian roots music and modern Ukrainian songs alongside popular American and European covers.
