Minnesota Street Rod Association’s Back to the Fifties Weekend

Overview

The 49th Annual Minnesota Street Rod Association’s “Back to the 50’s Weekend” presented by

NAPA Auto Parts returns this coming June! The show will blanket the State Fairgrounds with more than

11,000+ street rods, customs, classics, and restored vehicles, all dating from 1964 and earlier.

All Weekend

• NAPA Auto Parts Display - Home Improvement Building

• Ladies’ Showcase (North End Event Center)

o Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

• Cruise-N-Arts Craft Fair (Education Building) decor, gifts, wearables, and more

o Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

• Kids World activities (Machinery Hill) presented by Select Heartland Chevy Dealers

• Dixieland Pick-up band performing on their moving stage Friday, Saturday + Sunday

• You Tube Star Dylan McCool will share his journey to the event and be on site

• State Fair food

• United States Flag Raising Ceremony (Base of Space Needle) – 9 a.m.

Saturday

• Military Salute Flyover – 11 a.m.

• Pin-Up Contest – (Bandshell near Space Tower) – 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Friday and Saturday

• Model Car Show & Contest (Education Building) – 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

• Free Concerts Friday & Saturday (Bandshell near Space Tower) 6 – 9:30 p.m.

Friday Night – Church of Cash - Johnny Cash Tribute Band

Saturday Night – The Arcades

Comic, Tommy Ryman, as Opening Act and Intermission both nights

• Sunday Swap Meet (Midway) – 6 a.m. – 1 p.m.

• Church Service featuring The Memories (Bandshell) – 10:30 a.m.

• Closing Ceremony at 1 p.m. (Bandshell)

• School of Rock “The Best of the Bands” in Women’s World 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
