Minnesota Street Rod Association’s Back to the Fifties Weekend

Overview

The 52nd Minnesota Street Rod Association’s “Back to the Fifties Weekend” cruises onto the Minnesota State Fairgrounds June 19 – 21, 2026. Nearly 10,000 street rods, customs, classics, and restored vehicles, all dating from 1964 and earlier, will be on display. See cars from across the Midwest and beyond. Meet the owners who dedicate their time to keeping these amazing rides running smoothly. It’s a perfect Father’s Day celebration!

Event goers can expect:

- 200+ Commercial Vendors – Indoors and out throughout the Fairgrounds

- Ladies’ Showcase (North End Event Center): Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

- Cruise-N-Arts Craft Fair (Education Building) decor, gifts, wearables, and more: Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

- Kids World outdoor play center – Machinery Hill area

- Dixieland Pick-Up Band throughout the Fairgrounds: Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Friday

- United States Flag Raising Ceremony (base of Space Needle) – 9 a.m.

- Richie Lee & the Fabulous 50’s (Bandshell) FREE concert – 6 – 9 p.m.

- Midwest-based rock-and-roll band from Des Moines, Iowa

Saturday

- Military Salute Flyover – 11 a.m.

- Music Bingo FREE (Bandshell) – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

- Anthony Shore – Elvis Tribute Show (Bandshell) – 6 – 9 p.m.

Friday and Saturday

- Model Car Show & Contest (Education Building) – 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Sunday

- HUGE Swap Meet (Midway) – 6 a.m. – 1 p.m.

- Church Service (North End Event Center/Ladies Showcase) – 10 a.m.

- Closing Ceremony (Bandshell) - 1 p.m.

FREE rides on Metro Transit all weekend and a free shuttle on Saturday ONLY from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. - ETC/Energy Technology Center – 1450 Energy Park Drive, Saint Paul.
