Summit Hill Association
Non-profit neighborhood council of the city of Saint Paul, serving over 4000 residences. Mark your calendars! On Sunday, September 30th, 2018 the Summit Hill Association will hold its biennial Summit Hill House Tour.
Since 1972, the Summit Hill Association has hosted 22 historic house tours. As one of the oldest neighborhoods in St. Paul, Summit Hill is a regional and local treasure of history, architecture, distinctive pedestrian-friendly shopping and dining, and strong community connections. The neighborhood's Victorian-era housing stock, which is recognized nationally for its quantity, quality and diversity, continues to be restored and enhanced. Each house tour provides visitors an opportunity to share in the rich heritage of this historic area. The Summit Hill House Tour has become a tradition and destination event drawing participation from people all over the country.
The Summit Hill House Tour is a wonderful way to see lovingly-preserved houses and learn fascinating and fun facts and information about their unique histories and behind-the-scenes stories. We encourage you to make a day of it by also enjoying lunch or a post-tour drink at one of Grand Avenue's great restaurants, or doing some shopping at one its many interesting and unique local stores!
This all-volunteer event is a major fund-raiser for the Summit Hill Association, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, supporting many of its important community-based programs and initiatives. Tickets are fully tax-deductible.
