World’s Largest Hockey Puck
A Community-Built Icon in Saint Paul for the World Juniors
This winter, the world’s hockey fans are coming to Saint Paul — and we’re welcoming them with something unforgettable: the World’s Largest Hockey Puck, built right here in our city.
This is a grassroots community pride project, made possible by youth players, families, and businesses who want to show the world what Saint Paul pride looks like.
About the Puck
The World’s Largest Hockey Puck is being fabricated by Saint Paul’s own Wonder Studio, with additional fabrication from TC Rigging / Allied Productions in Oakdale.
Final Specs:
- 22.2 feet across
- 7.5 feet tall
- 5,000 pounds
- Constructed from aluminum, wood, steel, and vinyl
- Larger than the previous world record (20 feet!)
It's a testament to creativity, teamwork, and Saint Paul’s love for the game.
Where to See It
The puck will make its debut at the Bold North Breakaway Fan Fest in Rice Park — December 26 to January 5.
It's the perfect World Juniors photo moment.
