Visit Saint Paul names Jaimee Lucke Hendrikson as new president and CEO
SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Following a national search, Visit Saint Paul named Jaimee Lucke Hendrikson as the organization’s next president and CEO. Hendrikson has been with Visit Saint Paul since 2013, most recently serving as vice president of marketing and partnership.
“We are thrilled to be elevating Jaimee into this leadership role,” said Liz Xiong, Visit Saint Paul board chair. “Her creative approach to marketing and her depth of knowledge and relationships across the region will serve us well as we look to the future.”
Hendrikson joined Visit Saint Paul in 2013 as vice president of membership. Prior to 2013, she served as the partnership director for The Beer Dabbler and Growler Magazine, and as program director for the Grand Avenue Business Association.
“It is such an honor to have the opportunity to lead this amazing team,” said Hendrikson. “Visit Saint Paul is made up of talented professionals who are deeply invested in making Saint Paul shine, and I look forward to carrying the torch as we continue to work toward economic growth and vitality in Minnesota’s culture capital.”
Hendrikson will report to Visit Saint Paul’s board of directors and oversee its 11 employees. Her primary role will be to develop and implement a vision for the organization that furthers its mission to be a driver of Saint Paul’s economy through tourism and conventions.
“Visit Saint Paul is a crucial economic development partner for the city, especially as we adapt to the changes brought on by the pandemic and embrace the incredible diversity that makes Saint Paul so special,” said Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter. “I know that Jaimee will bring unique insights and a deep love for Saint Paul to this role, and I look forward to continuing our work together.”
