Help clean up the Mississippi River with Trout Unlimited!
Join CX3 for its annual Sunday morning tradition partnering with the Waḳan Ṭípi Center to clear trash along the river walk trail, improving the health of the river and a valuable community recreational resource. Following the cleanup, gather together for a shared meal and a chance to tour the newly-opened center, which honors the Waḳan Ṭípi Cave as a Dakota sacred site and serves as an intergenerational gathering place that honors Waḳan Ṭípi and Wic̣aḣapi as sacred sites and place of deep significance to the Dakota, Ho-Chunk and Ioway nations.
