Overview
Learn how to sew and design with the Sashiko Embroidery technique.
The group will learn the history of Sashiko where designing elements lead to shared stories of community and turned them into durable wearables.
During the process of unpacking common and uncommon participants will work in small groups to design the symbols that represent the group and create sewing circles to share each other’s stories.

Primary school of behavioral art was founded by behavioral artist aki shibata in 2017. the organization was found to promote create more spaces for people to learn from each other, breath together, and find compassions for all. PSBA has been supporting artists and communities through designing workshops, meeting, retreats, or/ and managing and planning projects. PSBA founder aki shibata has been creating behavioral art for more than decade primary in twin city and her hometown Tokyo. and she has realized that both artists and different communities needs more bridging to deepen understanding to each other's as well as, should have get more support to advocates. PSBA is a support to provide compassionate practice for everyone who needs.
