Lowertown Terror

Overview
In the late 1920s and early ’30s, St. Paul earned a chilling nickname: Crooks’ Haven. The city became a sanctuary for outlaws, bootleggers, and bank robbers who found safe passage under the protection of crooked politicians. But while the law may have looked the other way… death did not.
Beneath the ballpark, tunnels once led to secret speakeasies, gambling dens, and gangster hideouts. Deals were struck, debts were collected, and sometimes… rivals disappeared.
The Ghostly Gangster game woke up something in the tunnels. Once sealed-off passageways became monuments of disaster. The secrets of the past could not be contained forever. Ushertainers went missing, players vanished from the dugout, and crowd roars were cut short by screams. The gangsters from the past had come back—not to watch, but to play themselves. In time, the city shuttered the tunnels, declared them secure, and assured the public the grounds were safe. The city may have locked the doors, but it never silenced the dead. Enter after dark… but don’t expect to walk out alone. For the first time since the Ghostly Gangster Game, the ballpark re-opens for “Fright Nights at the Field: Lowertown Terror,” which takes over the ballpark this October.
Beginning on Thursday, October 9 and running through Friday, October 31 Lowertown Terror will run Thursday-Sunday from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. The hair-raising guided tour will take fans underneath the ballpark, through the clubhouses, down the hallways, and outside to the bottom of the Treasure Island Terrace. All Lowertown Terror tours are for those 12 and older.
