Overview
A beloved cultural tradition will return to Minnesota’s capital this spring as the International Festival of Minnesota (IFest-MN), formerly known as Festival of Nations.
After a seven-year hiatus, the reimagined festival will feature participation from 67 nations and ethnic communities celebrating Minnesota’s cultural diversity and global connections. The event will offer global cuisine, hands-on multicultural activities, artisan goods, and music and dance performances throughout the two-day festival.
Vendors representing five continents will present authentic foods, cultural demonstrations and immersive exhibits designed to give visitors opportunities to experience traditions, stories and flavors from around the world.
- Community partners are helping to make the festival accessible and welcoming to all.
- Metro Transit will provide free bus and light rail rides on April 10 and 11 for festival attendees
- Grey Line Minnesota will offer park-and-ride shuttle service
The festival is sure to foster understanding and celebrate the cultural traditions that shape communities across Minnesota and beyond.
