Yoerg Brewing Company

Overview

The Yoerg Brewing Company is Minnesota's first commercial Brewery, having been founded in 1848. While the original brewery ceased brewing in 1852, we revived the Yoerg brand and beer in 2018 and are open as a brewpub in a vintage 1885 Victorian building in the Dayton's Bluff Historic District overlooking Lowertown and downtown Saint Paul. Continuing the Yoerg brewing tradition, we produce original recipe Bavarian-styled beers which we serve on tap. We also serve over 150 imported European beers – 12 fresh on tap – focusing specifically on rare German and Belgian brews including all available Trappist monastery beers. If beer is not your thing, we offer fine wines by the glass and bottle, imported ciders and meads, European non-alcoholic beers, as well as local and European craft sodas. We are also a full service, German-styled restaurant specializing in old-world wursts, locally produced pub pizzas, and hot soft pretzels. The Yoerg Brewing Company has something for everyone all inside one of the most photogenic pubs in Minnesota.
