Celebrate National Donut Day in Saint Paul

National Donut Day is Friday, June 1 and you donut want to miss out on this sweet celebration.

200 pounds of powdered sugar, 70 dozen eggs, 70 pounds of butter, 20 pounds of chocolate and 8 pounds of bacon.

Put all of that together and what do you get? Besides high cholesterol, that’s all the epic deliciousness that goes into celebrating National Donut Day at Saint Paul’s Mojo Monkey Donuts.

Using those ingredients, Mojo Monkey will whip up more than 3,000 donuts for the deep-fried national holiday celebrated each year on the first Friday in June. The fun-filled menu contains 28 varieties of donuts, including favorites like blueberry pancake, maple bacon, funfetti, chocolate ganache and cookie dough. If you’re one of the first 200 customers, you’ll get a free donut to tide you over while you wait. Pre-order today to make sure you get your favorites.
