About the artist:
Boom Island String Quartet was founded in 2015 by four women who share a passion for bringing high-quality live chamber music to all. With a diverse repertoire spanning from classical favorites to popular songs, the group is equally at home in off-beat locations such as cafes and coffee shops as it is in the concert hall. Members are Martha McDermott (violin), Maya Lehmann (violin), Alexandria Mueller (viola), and Alia Abboud (cello).
