Meet SELA RUNN, an indie-folk duo led by the heartfelt singer-songwriter Jonathan Seldat and accompanied by guitarist and vocalist, Grant Vague. Born from Jonathan's return to his Minnesota roots in 2015, after a musical journey through NYC, LA, and Seattle, SELA RUNN draws inspiration from his father's vinyl collection which included icons such as James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Springsteen. Their debut album, "For A Long Time," penned and recorded during the pandemic in a cozy studio in Marshall, Minnesota, captivates listeners with its intimate storytelling and intriguing melodies. Listeners draw parallels between their music and the folk stylings of Gregory Alan Isakov, M. Ward, Nick Drake, and Wilco's Jeff Tweedy. Jonathan currently calls St. Paul home, where he shares his life with his talented and beautiful fiancé, Heather.
