RAW STAGES New Works Festival is a workshop process in which playwrights work with professional actors, directors, and dramaturgs to develop their script, and it’s often the first time playwrights have the chance to hear their work out-loud. January 11–January 13, 2019

Friday, January 11: Superman Becomes Lois Lane - A transgender woman becomes the deputy mayor of Saint Paul.

Saturday, January 12: The Gordon Parks Play - In researching the photographer Gordon Parks, a writer is transformed.

Saturday, January 12: Not for Sale - A 1960s family is forced from their home for opposing segregation in Minnesota housing.

Sunday, January 13: Runestone! The Rock Musical - This musical can only be about one thing-the Kenington Runestone. And it is.
