NEW IN 2024!26.2: A Marathon Poster Show, presented by Visit Saint Paul
26.2: A Marathon Poster Show will feature limited-edition posters created by local artists inspired by the Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America, the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon.
Artists, designers, illustrators, makers, and creators of all sorts are invited to create a piece inspired by the beauty of the marathon course; the sights, sounds, highlights, and landmarks that capture the spirit of the marathon and the Twin Cities community. Artists will be responsible for providing 31 18" x 24" prints (30 for sale, 1 for archives) as well as the cost of production of prints. Two artists grants of $250 will be available to assists in these costs. 50% of profits from 26.2: A Marathon Poster Show will go to the non-profit mission of Twin Cities In Motion, with the other 50% going directly to the artist.
The poster show will take place on Wednesday, October 2, at Summit Brewing Co., with posters being available for purchase after at the Health & Fitness Expo (Friday, October 4 – Saturday, October 5) and online October 8 - 15.
