Welcome to Saint Paul, MN
Welcome to Minnesota's Capital City with a gangster past, a hockey present and a flourishing future all wrapped into an eclectic college town atmosphere.
With 13 schools in town exciting events are bound to happen. One of the biggest rivalries and highly attended sporting events is the St. Thomas and St. John's football game. The 2013 match-up was held in Saint Paul at O'Shaughnessy Stadium at St. Thomas on September 21. While St. Thomas wasn't able to pull out the big win, it certainly ended in a memorable way. In Saint Paul, you’ll find family run restaurants and neighborhood pubs including O’Gara’s, Mancini’s and Bennett's along with world-renowned museums in the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Minnesota History Center and a full slate of outdoor festivals celebrating everything from culture to beer.
Saint Paul is a great city to stretch a college budget including $5 burger night at Burger Moe’s, great happy hours throughout the city and many attractions and things to do that don’t cost a penny.
Finally, we know that most college kids don’t have a car at their disposal to get around town. The Metro Transit bus line can get you all over town for cheap and the Nice Ride bike share program is constantly expanding throughout the Twin Cities. The Green Line now connects the Twin Cities to each other and to the Mall of America and the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport.
