Opened as part of the State of Minnesota’s Centennial Celebration in 1958, this year marks the 53rd year of the U of M Showboat Players’ summertime productions. The showboat is permanently docked on the Mississippi River, and features an interactive style of theatre based on old-time vaudeville traditions and offers great music, wit, charm, and lots of laughter to thousands of patrons per year. The Players are a unique troupe of talented performers cast exclusively with University students. Besides being a fantastic venue for live theatre seating up to 225 people, the Minnesota Centennial Showboat is available for your wedding, corporate outing, or other special event.
